The standard rate may be higher based on industry risk. On refunds Sezzle keeps the original processing fee, and charges 2% + 30¢ unless the refund is paid from your Sezzle balance. An inactive-merchant fee (greater of 10% of balance or $1,000 per month) can apply after 90 days with no volume and an undisbursed balance.
Sezzle's Acceptable Use Policy (updated Feb 9, 2026) prohibits crypto and stored value cards and requires approval for tobacco, ATF-regulated weapons and deferred delivery merchants. Supplements and dropshipping are not named.
Sezzle can extend settlement times for risk, made-to-order products or excessive disputes.
On Shopify, merchants install the Sezzle Payments app and add it under additional payment methods; inventory locking is not supported. Sezzle also lists BigCommerce, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Wix and CommentSold.
