Checkout & funnel platform
Checkout, payment orchestration and subscription platform for direct-response and subscription brands, formerly Phoenix. It routes orders across your own or Reign-sourced merchant accounts and can take over checkout on a Shopify store.

Best for
A direct-response or subscription brand doing $500K+ a year that wants its own checkout plus routing across several merchant accounts, including stores that lost Shopify Payments.

No fee schedule is published. Reign's terms say fees are due as set in each merchant's service agreement and are non-refundable unless agreed in writing. The site offers a self-serve Try for free sign-up and sales calls; the old phoenixtechnologies.io/pricing address now redirects to the reign.com booking page. Processing rates on Reign-sourced merchant accounts are not published.
Reign's payments FAQ says it underwrites low-risk and high-risk verticals, including subscription, supplements and coaching, and that a new merchant account can be live in as fast as 48 hours. Its Acceptable Use Policy (updated October 9, 2026) lists subscription and free-trial offers, supplements, nutraceuticals, CBD, sweepstakes and adult goods as restricted categories it may decline, restrict or review more closely. Reign says it is not a payment processor: processing is done by the providers behind each merchant account, and its terms say it is not responsible for holds or account actions taken by third-party processors. Its subprocessor list names Adyen, Stripe, Adaptiv Payments, High Wire Payments, ECRYPT, Merchant Focus Processing, plus an ACH and eCheck provider.
No payout schedule is published. Processing is done by the providers behind each merchant account. Reign's terms say payment services for US customers are provided by Airwallex US, LLC (NMLS #1928093).
Reign Checkout installs as an add-on: the store's cart hands off to a Reign checkout on the merchant's own subdomain. On Shopify, the storefront and catalog stay put while order, subscription and payment records live in Reign; Reign suggests pointing part of live traffic at Reign while the existing checkout keeps taking orders. No Shopify App Store listing was found under the Reign or Phoenix names. It can also run as a standalone funnel checkout linked from ads. Reign for WooCommerce, an extension that will sync products and send orders back to WooCommerce, is announced for the WooCommerce Marketplace and WordPress.org in Q1 2027, with early access sign-up now. API v1 at docs.reign.com covers orders, customers, subscriptions, transactions, refunds and disputes.
